Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator combines administrative and interpersonal skills to provide leadership, oversight and direction to the programmatic pieces of the organization. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with kids from a variety of backgrounds and is a self-starter. Our Program Coordinator will both be able to effectively manage programmatic details of operation, but will also have an attitude, energy and passion that inspires our scholar athletes through commitment and a hands-on approach. Teaching experience highly preferred. The candidate must have experience playing squash.

Academic Coordinator

The Academic Coordinator combines teaching and interpersonal skills to provide leadership, oversight and direction to the academic portion of the organization. Applicants must have prior experience working with kids  from a variety of backgrounds and formal teaching preparation or teaching experience. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for education, and will both be able to continue to develop WESA’s academic programming while also effectively managing operational details. We are looking for an energetic individual who has an attitude, energy and passion that inspires our scholar athletes through commitment and a hands-on approach.

Squash Coach (Part-time)

WESA seeks a part-time Squash Coach who combines coaching and interpersonal skills to provide direction, oversight, and energy to the athletic component of our organization. Our ideal candidate is a current or former squash player who is visionary, multitasking and detail oriented, with the ability to create practice plans, coach squash, and engage students with the sport, helping to get them excited about the opportunities that squash provides. This is an exciting opportunity for a multi-talented individual to develop a wide range of management and administrative skills while making a tremendous difference in the lives of traditionally underserved Seattle youth. The Squash Coach oversees the health and fitness progress of the Washington Education & Squash Academy students, working closely with the students, staff, and volunteers.
